Prince of Albert II of Monaco arrives in Warsaw

Prince of Albert II of Monaco and Princess Charlene were met in Warsaw, Wednesday, by President Komorowski and First Lady Anna at the start of a three-day visit to Poland.

The royal couple were welcomed to the Polish capital at the Presidential Palace and in the afternoon Prince Albert will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

In the afternoon, Prince Albert II will meet with the Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament (Sejm) Ewa Kopacz and Speaker of the Senate Bogdan Borusewicz.

In the evening, President Bronislaw Komorowski and First Lady Anna and will give an official dinner in honor of the Prince Albert and Princess Charlene.

On Thursday, the couple will be Krakow, where they will meet with Mayor Jacek Majchrowski and then visit the historic Wawel Castle.

On Friday, Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Charlene will visit the former German Nazi Concentration and Extermination Camp Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco, is the son of Rainer III and actress Grace Kelly and married Charlene Lynette Wittstock last year.

Prince Albert is said to be one of the wealthiest royals in the world with a fortune estimated at 1 billion USD. (pg)
