Polish terror suspect to be raised at G6 meeting

Poland's interior minister is to raise the arrest of the suspected Polish terrorist during the so-called G6+1 Ministerial Meeting in London, Wednesday.

Interior Minister Jacek Cichocki said that his colleges from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom, as well as the European Commission and the United States have been interested in the threat from 'lone wolf' terrorists such as those who perpetrated attacks in Norway and Oklahoma City.

The G6 group is an informal security initiative which began in 2003, with Poland's involvement since 2006.

Topics usually covered during G6 meetings include strengthen joint efforts to combat organized crime and terrorism, as well as effective protection of borders and combating illegal immigration. (pg)
