Outside of the EU, the figure is compared to that of Afghanistan or Pakistan (87 percent and 88 percent respectively).

European countries which are generally considered religious, like Italy and Ireland declared just 74 percent and 45 percent respectively.

In Poland, 10 percent said that they were not religious, while two percent declared being atheists. (rg)
