Polish-Chinese relations improving

The relations between Poland and China are improving said Polish Foreign Minister Grzegorz Schetyna.

"Eleven days ago I had the pleasure of being on a visit to China. We went to Beijing and Chengdu. At an intensive schedule of meetings – with the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi that with better and more intensive Polish-Chinese relations, it is important that our cooperation gained a new, local dimension which also included local governments,” Minister Schetyna told the Regional Poland-China Forum on Sunday held in Uniejów.
Minister Schetyna stressed that China is a strategic partner to Poland, adding that the two countries have also established a regular cargo rail link, operating since 2013. The line runs between Łódź in central Poland, and Chengdu. (rg)
