Schetyna will accompany his counterparts from Romania, Croatia, Hungary, and Canada to meet with Montenegrin politicians to support and further discuss their accession into the Treaty.

Montenegro's government previously expressed hope that the decision of enlarging the NATO would be made during last year's summit in Wales, as Montenegro is closest to meeting the Treaty's requirements of all candidate countries.

Experts say that the accession documents will probably be signed this year. According to the latest polls, 47 percent of Montenegrins support their country's accession to the treaty, but on the other hand 43 percent is opposing to the idea.

Minister Schetyna will meet up with his Montenegrin counterpart Igor Lukšić, but also with the Defence Minister Milica Pejanović-Đurišić.

Furthermore, Minister Schetyna will also be accompanied by Polish business representatives who will meet their partners in Montenegro to discuss further and deeper trade cooperation. (tf/rg)
