Siemoniak talks defence in China

Defence Minister Tomasz Siemoniak on an official visit to China will meet later on Thursday with his Chinese counterpart.

Siemoniak will meet China's Defence Minister General Chang Wanquan and deputy head of the Central Army Commission, General Fan Changlong.

In October 2014, Deputy Defence Minister Robert Kupiecki inaugurated Sino-Polish political-defence dialogue at the level of the defence ministries of the two countries.

Siemoniak is in Beijing to discuss Polish-Chinese cooperation in the defence sphere. During the talks regional and global security issues will also be discussed. (jh)
