Ukrainian pres. Poroshenko invites Polish counterpart Duda to Kiev

Ukrainian president, Petro Poroshenko, has invited his Polish opposite number, Andrzej Duda, to Kiev.

The date was not set, according to reports.
The invitation was made during a visit by the president's foreign affairs advisor Krzysztof Szczerski to Kiev on Friday
Poroshenko thanked Poland for its "unchanging and active stance on and solidarity with Ukraine in the international arena, in particular on the path to the EU."
Poroshenko stressed the need to reinforce Polish-Ukrainian relations in the spehere of military-technical cooperation, including a joint Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian brigade.
He told reporters that the situation in the eastern Donbas region was calm with the current ceasefire holding for the past six days. (jh/rk)
