Poland eyes Iran trade opportunities

Piechociński is accompanied by a group of Polish entrepreneurs and investors searching for fresh opportunities on the Iranian market sparked by announcements of lifting part of the Western sanctions imposed on that country as of January.

Examining prospects offered by the vast market comprising 80 million potential customers head of the Business Center Club Convent Wojciech Warski voiced the opinion that the present time is a highly favourable moment for establishing hubs to develop Polish business operations in Iran.

Areas of Iranian interest in Polish offers, range from rolling stock, through city transport, to cosmetics.

During the three day visit by Minister Piechociński a Polish-Iranian economic cooperation agreement has also been signed. (ss/rg/rk)
