El Faro ship wreck found?

Search and rescue teams in the US have claimed to have found the El Faro container ship which sank on 1 October with five Polish crew members on board.

The El Faro went missing off the Bahamas after experiencing problems during the passage of Hurricane Joaquin last month.

The El Faro which measured 241 metres (790ft) sank while sailing between Florida and Puerto Rico.

The remains which were claimed to be from the El Faro are at a depth of 15,000 ft.

The El Faro sank with 33 crew members on board, including five from Poland. (rg/rk)
