Many of them tried to cross into Poland in a rented bus, the website said.
The tut.by website interviewed some of the Chechens, who said: “Poland should either let us in, or close the border altogether”.
The website added that as many as 200 Chechens have been trying to obtain refugee status in Terespol, a town in eastern Poland on the Belarusian border. (rg)
