After the meeting, Waszczykowski said that the British had promised to address the issue. He added that Johnson had assured him that the UK government does not accept the hate action against migrants and it will do everything to protect Poles and other foreigners against aggression.

According to the Polish minister, an educational campaign should be launched in the British Isles so as to make people aware that Brexit will not mean throwing immigrants out from the UK.

This past weekend in the town of Harlow, England, a group of teenagers attacked two Poles. One of them died from his injuries.
