More Poles beaten in UK

The Polish Ambassador in the UK will meet Home Office representatives following a string of brutal beatings of Poles in Great Britain, including the killing of one man last week.

Two Poles were attacked on Sunday morning in Harlow in the east of England – the same town where another Polish national was killed last week.
British police are investigating the incident as a potential hate crime.
Meanwhile, the Polish Foreign Ministry has said that following these incidents against the Polish minority in the UK, the Ambassador in the country will meet with the local Home Office representatives to discuss the issue.
The latest attack comes just hours after over 700 people gathered in the centre of the city to pay tribute to a Polish man who died after being beaten last week.
According to the police in Essex, two Poles were beaten outside a popular pub in Harlow at around 3:30 am GMT on Sunday. Preliminary investigations indicate that four or five men were involved in beating the two Poles, who were hospitalised with broken bones and bruises.
Both of the men were discharged after a few hours. (rg)
