The aim of the meeting in Prague on Friday, attended by ten EBU members in Central and Eastern Europe, was to outline a common EBU position within both the Visegrad Group and CEE countries.

The Visegrad group comprises Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

Stanisławczyk said that the meeting was “fruitful”.

She said that the new project is still being developed, but added that while the members have not arrived at any conclusions, “discussion is important” and “it is too early for conclusions”.

“It is a very important and quite a new project, so we will have to discuss, and we will have time for the decision,” she said. (rg)
