In total, 402 deputies approved a bill on the move and 36 were against. There were no abstentions.
The bill will now go to the Senate, Poland’s upper house.
The aim of the UN climate accord, agreed in Paris last December, is to keep the increase in global average temperatures below 2 degrees Celsius compared to the pre-industrial era and to continue efforts to limit temperature increases to 1.5 degrees.
