“These are three extremely important areas of cooperation, in which we have many common interests and points of view," Polish President Andrzej Duda said, following a meeting with his Estonian counterpart, Kersti Kaljulaid.

Duda added that the conversation showed a convergence of views on many issues relating to military security and energy. The two politicians spoke about connecting electricity supply between Baltic states and EU countries.

“We also discussed energy independence and diversification of gas supplies,” Duda said, adding that another topic broached was implementing the decisions of the July NATO summit in Warsaw.

Kaljulaid said: “We are proud and pleased to work with Poland.” (rg/pk)
