Soloch was set to meet Sir Mark Lyall Grant, National Security Advisor to British Prime Minister Theresa May.

The visit is a continuation of efforts to strengthen partnership between Warsaw and London.

Soloch will also discuss Polish-British bilateral relations, as well as the plans of the UK government on post-Brexit cooperation within the EU-wide security and defence framework.

The talks were also set to include the possibility of increasing the presence of British soldiers in Poland, as part of a NATO programme to strengthen the Western military alliance's eastern flank.

On Monday, Soloch was set to visit the British Cabinet Office Briefing Room (COBRA), the UK’s crisis management centre which hosts meetings on national security in emergency situations. (rg/pk)
