Only 13 percent of those polled said the country should leave the bloc.

According to the paper, the results of the poll indicate that no anti-EU political party could succeed in Poland. It added that it is unlikely that the country will leave the EU anytime soon.

The survey also found that 55 percent of Poles think the European Union is working well, although 56 percent of those polled said that the EU needs to change the way it operates.

The Polish daily Rzeczpospolita on Monday reported that French right-wing presidential candidate Marine Le Pen said she is willing to work with the leader of Poland's ruling conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party, Jarosław Kaczyński, in order to “dismantle” the European Union.

A Rzeczpospolita reporter later apologised for misquoting the French presidential candidate.

Meanwhile, Kaczyński said suggestions that Poland wanted a “Polexit” were deceptive and manipulative, and PiS spokeswoman Beata Mazurek said the party is not interested in dismantling the EU.
