Polish and Hungarian presidents meet for Friendship Days

Polish President Andrzej Duda and Hungarian President János Áder will meet today in Piotrków Trybunalski, central Poland, to celebrate Polish-Hungarian Friendship Days.

The planned topics of discussion during the two-day event, according to the Polish president's office, include the importance of Central European cooperation and ensuring that this part of Europe is present in international politics.
This is one of the Hungarian president’s first trips abroad after his re-election to a second term earlier this month.
The two countries established 23 March as Polish-Hungarian Friendship Day in 2007 and have been celebrating it since then, alternating the location between Poland and Hungary. (mol/pk)
