It refers to the occupation of the Crimea, the Soviet aggression in Ukraine and the unfulfilled Minsk agreements on resolving the Ukraine crisis.
The Speaker of the Polish Senate, Stanisław Karczewski, told reporters that the Polish and Lithuanian Parliaments have reiterated their commitment to support Ukraine in defending its sovereignty. He said parliamentary leaders of the three countries will go to the United States, Brussels and other European capitals with a joint letter on Ukraine’s security and sovereignty.
The final declaration of the Warsaw meeting also condemns human rights violations in Belarus, and calls on the Minsk authorities to immediately release all those detained after recent demonstrations. (mk/rg)
