Krzysztof Szczerski, the head of Polish President Andrzej Duda's cabinet, said Singapore was one of Asia's main importers of Polish goods.

Singapore “is an exceptionally dynamic country in terms of technological development, investment, modern technologies and scientific research,” Szczerski said.

He said that the visit “will be a time to discuss the promotion of Polish trade interests in Asia”.

During the two-day visit, Duda and his Singaporean counterpart, Tony Tan, will attend a Polish-Singaporean business forum.

The presidents will also talk about their countries teaming up to work together on science and technology. (vb/rg)
