President Andrzej Duda will represent Poland at funeral ceremonies on Saturday for former Chancellor Helmut Kohl, the architect of Germany's reunification in 1990.

Among those expected to attend the ceremonies in Strasbourg, France, are German Chancellor Angela Merkel, European Parliament chief Antonio Tajani and European Council President Donald Tusk.
They are expected to be joined by French President Emmanuel Macron and former US President Bill Clinton.
Kohl, who was Germany’s chancellor from 1982 to 1998, died on 16 June at his home after a long illness at the age of 87.
