Among Belarusians who sought information from La Strada organization, which helps people travelling abroad and fights forced labour, 22 percent last year chose to work in Poland, and 27 percent in Russia, the IAR news agency reported, citing Belarusian media.
Four years ago, 53 percent went to Russia and only eight percent to Poland, IAR added.
Yelena Nesterchuk, head of La Strada in Belarus, said Russia is still suffering from a crisis and jobs are hard to find.
Poland, meanwhile, is trying to attract qualified staff from nearby countries and creating good conditions for them.
