The meetings also aim to boost Westminster’s ties with Polish non-government organizations.

The first meeting is expected on 5 October at the Polish Social-Cultural Centre in western London, where representatives of Britain’s Brexit and foreign ministries will outlay planned migration rules.

According to the PAP news agency, two other meetings will be held in other parts of the UK. One of them is likely to be in Scotland.

British Home Secretary Amber Rudd said there is some confusion as to the situation European Union nationals will face in the UK after Britain leaves the bloc, and that the meetings aim to clear up that confusion by reaching the nearly one-million Poles living in the UK, according to Poland’s Rzeczpospolita daily.

Rudd told the daily that the UK wants Poles to stay, but Brexit has given rise to many concerns which include that Britain will stop caring about European Union nationals after it leaves the bloc.

Meanwhile, the fourth round of Brexit talks in Brussels ends on Thursday. (vb)
