Jail terms for three teens who gang raped Polish woman
PR dla Zagranicy
Three teenagers from Bologna have been sentenced to nine years and eight months in jail each over the gang rape of a Polish woman and the brutal beating her husband in Italy's Rimini last September.
Two brothers of Moroccan descent aged 15 and 17 and their 16-year-old Nigerian accomplice were also accused of attacking a pair of Italian tourists and a Peruvian transsexual.
The Nigerian's defence lawyer said the sentence was too high and that an appeal would be lodged.
A fourth attacker, a 20-year-old refugee from Congo, was sentenced last year to 16 years in jail. (vb/pk)
