Jacek Czaputowicz said his talks with France’s Jean-Yves Le Drian tackled bilateral cooperation on security, the future of the EU and reviving Polish-French relations.
"Both countries are striving to strengthen the EU's position globally, to develop the EU. We sometimes differ on the ways to achieve this,” Czaputowicz said.
“The goal is a common, strong European Union and -- as I heard from my partner [Le Drian] -- one EU, without divisions.”
Czaputowicz was on Friday to head to Madrid for talks with Spain’s top diplomat, Alfonso Dastis, on a range of bilateral, European and international issues, according to Poland’s PAP news agency.
