The agreement will be inked in Washington.

Gowin, who is also a deputy prime minister, is being accompanied on a trip to the US by Entrepreneurship and Technology Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz, who will meet bosses at technology giant Google.

There are about 60 Polish companies operating in the United States, according to the entrepreneurship and technology ministry in Warsaw.

Bilateral trade with the US last year was worth a record USD 12.7 billion, up from USD 10.4 billion in 2016, according to Poland’s Central Statistical Office.

John Lowell Armstrong, Economic Counselor at the American embassy in Warsaw, said on Thursday that, according to the American Chamber of Commerce, US companies have invested about USD 42 billion in Poland since 1990.
