Polish-British security, defence talks

Polish and British foreign and defence ministers are to talk about security, bilateral partnership, and the UK's post-Brexit ties with the EU in Helenów, near Warsaw, on Thursday.

The talks precede next month's NATO summit in Brussels.

Discussions are also to cover the implementation of a 2017 Polish-British treaty on cooperation in security and defence.

This is the sixth ever meeting of the four ministers – known as the Quadriga – which aims to consolidate strategic relations between Poland and the United Kingdom. (mk/vb)
