US official confirms US, Polish presidents will meet

US President Donald Trump's advisor has confirmed that there will be a meeting between the Polish and US presidents this year.

Trump's security advisor John Bolton said his meeting with Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz earlier this week was "in preparation" for Polish President Andrzej Duda's visit at the White House.
Czaputowicz and Bolton met at the White House on Thursday for talks which also touched on Polish-US military partnership and Russia's planned Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
