The meeting in the seaside resort of Jurata on Poland’s northern Baltic coast focused on joint infrastructure and communication projects as well as the future of the European Union, of which both countries are members, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

The event was co-chaired by Marek Kuchciński, Speaker of the Sejm, the lower house of Poland’s parliament, and Radek Vondráček, Speaker of the Czech Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of the country's legislature, IAR said.

Polish and Czech parliament leaders previously held similar meetings in 2014 and 2016, according to Poland’s PAP news agency.
