Polish FM to hold talks in Vilnius

Jacek Czaputowicz’s schedule included meetings with President Dalia Grybauskaitė, Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis and Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius, according to the Polish foreign ministry.

The talks were expected to focus on bilateral political, economic and cultural ties, in addition to security issues, joint energy and infrastructure projects, and cooperation as part of NATO and the European Union.

While in Vilnius, Czaputowicz was also expected to discuss problems faced by the Polish national minority in Lithuania, the foreign ministry in Warsaw said ahead of the visit.
