Poland’s Jacek Czaputowicz told reporters that the talks also touched on the sizeable Polish community in Ireland.

Czaputowicz said after his meeting with Simon Coveney, Ireland’s foreign and trade minister, that the two countries had "very close relations.”

He added that 122,000 Poles lived in Ireland, according to a 2016 census, and constituted that country’s largest national minority.

Coveney "informed me that it is [now] even bigger. It is also an extremely active community," Czaputowicz said.
