Speaking to reporters in Chicago on Tuesday, the first day of his visit, Morawiecki said he would be talking to investors "because there are never too many jobs, and never too many well-paid jobs in Poland."
He added: "This is about talking to entrepreneurs, describing the situation in Poland, in the EU; the economic, business and budgetary situation, how people can invest in Poland, and this is one of the main points of my meetings here in Chicago, as well as in New York."
While in Chicago, which has a large population of Polish origin, Morawiecki on Tuesday attended a screening of a special production about Poland by American public TV broadcaster PBS.
In the one-hour TV show called Poland: the Royal Tour, Morawiecki himself takes American journalist Peter Greenberg on a tour of some of Poland’s historic landmarks and other important sites.
After flying to New York, the Polish premier was on Wednesday expected to take part in a meeting at New York University and appear at another screening of Poland: the Royal Tour, this time at the city’s Guggenheim Museum.
