He was speaking at a joint press conference in Warsaw with visiting Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.
Morawiecki told reporters: "Poland and Croatia have always been very friendly countries, but the recent past in particular, which has seen us together in the EU, shows how we have common interests, what solidarity we can show each other."
He added: "This is certainly going to happen in the context of (...) negotiations for the next EU budget."
Plenković’s visit came as heads of government from a string of European nations gathered at the 6th Western Balkans Summit in the western Polish city of Poznań to discuss issues that are key for the Western Balkans region.
