The recording features Stanislaw Soyka, Anna Maria Jopek, Aga Zaryan and Urszula Dudziak, the trumpeter Tomasz Stańko and the pianist Leszek Możdzer.

The proceeds from the sale of the CD go for the Action’s current project – the construction of water wells in southern Sudan.

The charity began with humanitarian assistance for the inhabitants of Sarajevo during the war in the Balkans.

Since then, it has carried missions in 44 countries, providing medical aid and all-round assistance for the people suffering from wars and natural disasters.

One of the songs on the new album, composed by Grzegorz Turnau and sung by all the artists participating in the project, is dedicated to Janina Ochojska, the founder the Polish Humanitarian Action. (mk/pg)
