Thriller Kick stars Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan, with the plot revolving around three characters drawn together by fate in the Polish capital.

“Initially, the producers wanted to set the main action of the film in London,” revealed Krzysztof Solek, whose company Film Polska Productions is cooperating in making the movie.

“But in the end, Warsaw won out as a city with more freshness about it,” he said.

“We're proud to be taking part,” he added.

“We believe that the production will prove how attractive Poland can be for the global film industry.”

Shooting will last from 11 April to 28 April, with director Sajid Nadiadwala scheduled to capture sites such as the Cold War era Palace of Culture and Science, Gdansk Bridge and Constitution Square. (nh)
