Ennio Morricone to play in Kraków

The famed film composer will delight audiences in the city of Kraków as part of his “My Life in Music, World Tour" on 14 February.

A 160-member orchestra and polyphonic choir will bring his compositions to life.
The Italian musician will be presenting from his vast body of work spanning over five decades, including scores for The Mission, Cinema Paradiso, and several films for director Sergio Leone.
The concert at the Tauron Kraków Arena will be the second time the composer has performed in the city, following a concert in 2007 to mark the 750-year anniversary since the foundation of the city.
Morricone has been nominated for five Academy Awards, and won and Honorary Oscar in 2007 for his career achievements. (rg)
