The event, which runs until Saturday night, is one of the biggest annual music festivals in central Europe.

This year's guests include Kasabian, Drake, Mumford and Sons, Faithless, The Prodigy, The Libertines and Jonny Greenwood.

As usual, the revelry is taking place on the terrain of the Gdynia-Kosakowo military airport.

Besides music, visitors will also have the opportunity to watch acclaimed theatrical productions, as well as savour an art exhibition in conjunction with the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. (nh)
