Dozens of photographs documenting the work of Jerzy Grotowski's Laboratory Theatre are the basis of the exhibition at the Wrocław Contemporary Museum.
The images are by Jan Krzysztof Fiołek, who collaborated with the Laboratory Theatre in 1979-1983.
Jerzy Grotowski was one of the major theatre directors and theorists to come out of Europe in the second half of the 20th century.
He opened his Laboratory Theatre in Wrocław in 1965, but following martial law eventually settled in Italy. He died there on 14 January, 1999. (rg/pk)
