Fans of the amber nectar are in for a treat as the Warsaw Beer Festival kicks off on Thursday, with visitors promised tastings, lectures and brewing workshops.

Among the exhibitors will be brewers from the United States, Norway, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Portugal and Sweden, as well as Poland.
The main aim of the three-day event, at the capital’s Legia stadium, is to promote home brewing and beer culture.
“Home-brewed beer will always be closer to our hearts than what comes out of a factory,” say the festival's organizers, brewers Paweł Leszczyński and Jacek Materski.
The festival is now in its fourth year. (pk)
