The three-day event kicked off in the city's Three Ponds Valley on Friday, setting the stage for performances by 70 artists, such as Mudhoney, Napalm Death, Anohni and Devendra Banhart.
Polish headliners include alt-pop star Brodka, hip-hop crew Kaliber 44, and progressive rock legend SBB.
Alongside gigs, the programme features a number of attractions such as a tour of the Duke’s Brewery in Tychy, the now defunct Guido Coal Mine in Zabrze and the Katowice Cultural Zone, all located at a short distance from the festival’s venues.
The OFF Festival is one of the largest showcases of alternative music in Europe.
