Poles open to ‘smart home’ solutions

Six in ten Poles are convinced that most Polish homes will be “smart” five years from now, according to the Rzeczpospolita daily.

According to the paper, most Poles are open to new technology that allows household appliances to be controlled with a smartphone.

Poles are also convinced that smart technology in Polish homes could increase their safety, the daily said.

Rzeczpospolita added that developers in Poland have already noticed this trend and are incorporating “smart” solutions into their buildings.

According to the paper, the “smart” home market was worth around PLN 100 million (EUR 23 million) in 2015 in Poland.
