The OECD’s Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) for 2015 tested more than 4,400 randomly selected Polish pupils. The results were released on Tuesday.
The assessment is a triennial survey aiming to evaluate education systems across the world by testing 15-year-olds.
In 2015 over half a million students in total took an internationally agreed two-hour test.
Singapore came first internationally. The top OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) countries were Japan, Estonia, Finland and Canada.
