The show, entitled "Heaven", is one of a slew of artistic events being held in the city until Sunday.
The sound-and-light spectacular, directed by Briton Chris Baldwin, will portray the history of Wrocław through the eyes of three generations of women.
Other highlights of the closing events will include a performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s "Il Trovatore" at the Wrocław Opera, staged in collaboration with the Latvian National Opera.
Street theatre, a music festival and a photography exhibition are other attractions held to mark the end of Wrocław's year as a European Capital of Culture.
