As part of the event, a forum of Polish and Ukrainian technical university chancellors will be held, focusing on cooperation between Poland and Ukraine in the fields of science and higher education.

“There will be workshops and meetings devoted to different topics, but we will also encourage Ukrainian universities to take advantage of available EU programmes,” says Paweł Poszytek, director of the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE).

The forum will see debates on the issues of internationalisation, double degree programmes and student exchange under the ERASMUS+ programme.

A career fair, hosted by Poland, will also be held in Kiev, providing information on the educational offer of Polish universities.

Some 34,000 Ukrainian students are currently enrolled in Polish Universities. The most popular degree subjects to choose by Ukrainians are international relations and management.

Polish-Ukrainian Days of Education, Science and Innovations are co-organised by the FRSE foundation and the Conference of Rectors of Polish Universities of Technology.

The event wraps up on Friday. (ał/rg)
