Polish singer ends 22nd in Eurovision contest

Polish singer Kasia Moś ended 22nd in Saturday's Eurovision contest, with Portugal's Salvador Sobral taking home the top prize.

Twenty-seven year old Sobral garnered 758 points from juries and televoters with his love ballad Amar Pelos Dois which was written by his sister.

Upon receiving the award he said: “We live in a world of fast food music. This is a victory for music ... music isn't fireworks, music is feeling.”

According to the Eurovision website, Poland 's Moś - who performed a song called Flashlight - was born in 1987 into an artistic family. She released her debut album, Inspination, in 2015.

The album can be described as a mix of electronic and soul with elements of pop music. She has participated in the Polish selection for the Eurovision Song Contest three times, in 2006 with the song 'I Wanna Know', in 2016 with' Addiction' and finally in 2017 with 'Flashlight'. She is currently working on a new album.
