The 2017 edition of the festival will showcase Polish-Irish diplomatic relations in Dublin and several other Irish towns.
During the event, an exhibition will show the life and career of Consul-General Wacław Tadeusz Dobrzyński, a Polish nobleman who initiated Polish-Irish friendship in the 20th century.
The festival will also feature a meeting with Zygmunt Miłoszewski, Poland’s bestselling crime fiction author, and an exhibition of paintings by Irish and Polish artists Julie Potter and Paweł Jasiński.
The festival lasts until 4 June and also includes culinary workshops, special events for families, sports events and screenings of Polish films. (mk/vb)
