Open air jazz festival starts in Warsaw

The 23rd International Open Air Jazz Festival at Warsaw’s Old Town district starts on Saturday.

The free music festival will in 2017 feature artists from the US, Brazil, Italy, Austria, Spain and Poland, playing mainstream jazz as well as swing, bossa nova, world-jazz, fusion and flamenco jazz.
Highlights of the festival include premiere performances by Nicholas Payton on trumpet, James Carter on saxophone and John Pizzarelli on guitar.
Concerts will be held every Saturday throughout July and August. (vb/pk)
