The competition is run by the Filming Europe/European Film Commission Network (EUFCN) in collaboration with the Cineuropa platform.

In 2014, four Wrocław streets -- Miernicza, Łukasińskiego, Ptasia and Kurkowa -- served as location for Steven Spielberg’s Bridge of Spies.

The film crew spent six days in the city, recreating Berlin of the Cold War period, along with the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie.

Voting is open to all film fans until 25 October at Cineuropa.org. The main prize is a three-day stay for two at the winning location.

The results of the competition will be announced in Brussels on 7 November. (mk/gs/pk)
