In 2017, the five-day festival focused on Polish comedies. It was launched with a screening of 1970 cult classic Rejs ("Cruise") by Marek Piwowski.
Łukasz Palkowski's film entitled Breaking the Limits ("Najlepszy") received the people's choice award while an all-French six-member judges panel gave Anna Jadowska's Wild Roses ("Dzikie Róże") the festival's main prize.
The Polish Institute in Paris' Marzena Moskal said the festival was a success and that large audiences attended all screenings. (vb/di)
