Forty-one year-old Strusińska is among leading Polish conductors of her generation. She has previously served as Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Philharmonic Orchestra in Szczecin, north-western Poland, and as assistant conductor of the Halle Orchestra in Manchester, England.

She has worked closely with many Polish and foreign orchestras and opera companies, including the National Opera in Warsaw and the Royal Ballet at London’s Covent Garden.

She is a prizewinner of the prestigious Gustav Mahler Conducting Competition in Bamberg, Germany.
